Beyond the music, GØDFRAME is passionate about using creativity as a vehicle for impact. Having openly walked through struggles with fatherlessness, addiction, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts, he now creates from a place of redemption and restoration. Whether through songs, speaking, film, or community, his mission is simple: to help people encounter the hope of Jesus, rediscover their identity, and believe their story still matters.

ORIGIN STORY

A note from GodFrame:

Whadduuup!

And welcome to my lil’ corner of the internet. I’m glad you’re here!

You know when you meet someone new and ask, “So what do you do?” They usually respond with a simple answer like, “Oh, I’m a consultant,” or “I’m a nursing assistant.”

But every time I get asked that question, I feel like a baseball is stuck in my throat. I freeze, and eventually stumble awkwardly through enough ventures and hobbies to make your head spin. I never have just one answer! And you know what? I like it that way!

Over the years, my creative interests have included everything from Music Production to Rapping, Singing, Graphic/Web Design, Filmmaking, Preaching, Entrepreneurship, and Podcast Hosting. But in a nutshell, I’m a Jesus-loving creative human being on a mission to bring hope to the world through music and media.

If you invited me to your party, I’d definitely bring the snacks and a dope playlist. I’d make you dance, laugh, and maybe even cry (but we’d be sobbing together ‘cause I cry at everything). We’d cackle, people-watch, and share stories about our wildest dreams and ambitions - which I’d eventually hype you up on and make you wanna GO FOR THEM, making you feel like running through a wall.

I really believe that you can do anything and that everything is possible. No matter where you’ve come from, God can change your story and give you a brand new life. There’s no broken past, addiction, vice, or relationship He can’t heal you from. I’ve seen it in my own life and in countless others. That’s my story, and I’m sticking with it ‘til the day I leave this earth.

CHILDHOOD

I was born in Oakland, California to my parents, Rochelle and Terry Ford. My dad was in the navy, so we moved around a bit until he and my mom split. Eventually my mom and I landed back in her home town of Batesville, Arkansas. Growing up in the country and with a single mom, I learned quickly how to make a lot out of a little bit, to which I owe much of my creativity. We were always in church, so it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with God and gospel music. I played football for a couple years, but quickly learned that I was way more band nerd than athlete, so I graduated high school with a scholarship to study saxophone.

COLLEGE

From 2007-2012, I attended the University of Central Arkansas where I somehow balanced a never-ending schedule of schoolwork, marching band, campus ministry, making beats, recording albums, performing at youth events, filming music videos, and being a student pastor. It was there that God freed me from a porn addiction that I’d been fighting for many years. And it was also where I met the love of my life, Jasmine - two experiences that would change my life forever.

“No matter where you’ve come from, God can change your story and give you a brand new life.”

TODAY

In 2013, I married my beautiful best bud, Jasmine. She’s given me an amazing daughter, Jaelle, and a young king of a son, Jensen. I spend most of my time running my video production company and content studio, speaking at events, and producing music for film and tv.

Now...if you made it this far, you deserve a cupcake cuz that was a lot.

And I deserve one too, cuz I hate writing my own bio’s.

Thanks for reading : )
